Out of our many times at the Lodge, we have never dined at Loose Moose (mostly because of the price), but when given a voucher for a free dinner for our clan, a visit was due.
We arrived right at opening for dinner, and let me begin by saying that the service here was fantastic. Our waitress was so kind and fun, and so was the rest of the staff. Our waitress joked with the kids, answered all of our questions, and got us everything we needed with great enthusiasm and patience.
As for the food, there are a fair amount of dishes, and everything that we did have tasted pretty good. However, I would really like to see more vegetarian options available on the buffet bar other than just salad and mac & cheese. There were a variety of meat options, and I think it would be great if they would have just at least one vegetarian protein option available: tofu, a veggie burger, anything! I found things that I could eat as a vegetarian, but then again it's not always fun having a meal comprised of salad and pasta carbs.
Some of the items that I feasted on where the mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, spring rolls, pasta with Marinara, veggies, and of course, salad and fixins.
Moose moose is not a bad option if you're looking for a sit down dinner, and I do believe they have reduced the prices in more recent years. In conclusion, great service, pretty good food, but please consider adding more vegetarian friendly items to the buffet! -

We are here multiple times because we made the mistake of buying the meal package. The first night's dinner was outstanding. Hot and fresh. A few fruit flies by the salads. First breakfast was "eh", nothing special, and swarms of fruit flies on fruit, sticky buns, etc. Second dinner, hot and fresh but duplicate of previous night except pizza and potato bar swapped for Asian. Second breakfast, no flies but still "eh". Service was always strange. Nonexistent, but all kind of chatty when they stopped by. Awkward on how to tip, especially since included in package. We actually forfeited dinner tonight and went out to eat to avoid another duplicate. We would wat dinner here again, but only once per trip.
Standouts were the Greek salad bar area, potato bar, and desserts. -

It's our second time visiting Great Wolf Lodge and I recalled our pleasant dinner at Loose Moose years ago. Boy has time changed and so has the menu and head chef.
The option and variety of food is nothing but junk food. They have salad, stuffing, white fish, ham, mac and cheese and other pasta, fried breaded food, Chinese station, and some junk dessert station. Everything we tasted was either loaded with sodium or bland or cold. Their spring rolls were nice looking on the outside but ice cold (still frozen) on the inside. Yuck! Their sweet and sour chicken is full of hard rock breading smothered with sauce. Where's the chicken in it? I can't even find the meat!
It was a sad dinner. Adults cost $21 per person. This is also our Easter dinner 2019 and a sad experience to remember. I do not recommend coming here. Save yourself and stop by a Burger King or McDonald's and you'll have a better dinner. -

I must say this was a big disappointment eating here. We went here a couple years ago and I remember it was decent. However, this time around no bueno on the food. They had Asian spring rolls that was not even cooked on the inside. It was still frozen! The rice tasted like bird seeds and the pot luck stickers should be call unlucky stickers.
They had garden salad that you put together yourself with choice of broccoli and potato salad. The pasta and meat sauce tasted like it was straight from a can. They served canned fruits as well. The stuffing looked like it was a bunch of stuff I don't even know. For 20.99 per adult I felt I got ripped off on the food. On the bright side the server was on point with taking our finished plates and was tentative to us. The only thing this place got going for them we didn't have to drive out to get food. Nothing that was served this night I could say was decent or enjoyed. Other than that, you have been warned about the food. You might do better driving out if your willing to do so. -

While this place is geared towards kids of course it has to have a comfortable spot for adults as well. This restaurant is located inside the Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg Virginia.
This place surprised me a little bit. It's not really a "bar" it's a buffet but you can get beer and mixed drinks. It wasn't open when we first arrived and pretty much all the other food places here are crap. I figured Loose Moose to be the same. After kids have been in the pool, running around the water park, playing video games they will eat anything. I mean kids love McDonalds and if they'll eat that they'll eat anything for God-sake.
I was not expecting much. Meals mean a lot to me and I hate having a bad meal. I felt like the food would be along the lines of an elementary school cafeteria or Church e Cheese.
I was mistaken, our waitress was really nice. I ordered a beer (of course) and my wife a margarita (of course). She told us to have at the buffet.
They had a nice selection, pork roast, roast beef, fried chicken, shrimp, other types of fish, sausage, and many other main dishes and side dishes. They had a decent salad bar and even king crab legs if you pay a little extra. The dessert bar was ok too I had some chocolate cake that was pretty good.
This would be 3.75 if I could go that way. I was pleasantly surprised by a nice meal and the employees were great as well as our waitress.
